In this episode, I talk about why so many women feel the need to keep explaining themselves. Over explaining often comes from people pleasing, fear of judgment, and subtle social power dynamics. Once you see the pattern, you start noticing how explaining yourself too much affects confidence, boundaries, and the way people (don't) respect you.

I'll break down the psychology behind over explaining, why women do it, and the mindset shift that helps you stop explaining yourself and start being taken seriously.

This episode is complimentary to the one directly preceding it (Girly law of power #32: Stop trying to be understood by everyone).

PS I strongly recommend you listen to this with earphones to get the full experience. You'll see what I mean...because when I told y'all everything up until late 2025 was just a WARM UP!! This is the most intricately produced episode I've ever created. I'm so excited for you to listen.

đŸŽ™ïž About the podcast: The patriarchy is starting to crumble, but sadly it probably won't be fully dismantled in our lifetime. In this podcast, I help women exploit the system's loopholes while finding the hidden ways the patriarchy conditions us to leak our power. Because guess what? Power isn't given, it's either taken or created. And it's time to take back the power the patriarchy stole from us.
