Unscripted: Is building a career a capitalist scam?

The baddies asked and I have delivered. I'M DROPPING WEEKLY EPISODES!!! In between the girly laws of power, I'll be dropping these off the cuff, unscripted episodes. 24 hours before filming, I put a poll on my instagram story for the baddies to pick a topic. The one with the most votes becomes the topic of the episode.

The baddies chose "is building a career a capitalist scam," so that's what we're yapping about today. I share my own experiences of getting my soul sucked by working in a corporate job. After working with CEOs, execs, and boards, I've seen some STUFF. And I lived to tell the tale. I'll also discuss a way to save ourselves from the dementors.

I feel like this might (??) be less applicable to jobs in certain fields (e.g. healthcare, teaching, etc.). But the capitalism pandemic is everywhere, so I'm curious to hear from the non corporate baddies. Drop a comment and lmk! I'll be responding to all comments 🩷
