This week, we are joined by the Rev. Dr. Melody Knowles, the Vice President of Academic Affairs and Associate Professor of Old Testament at Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, VA. 

In this first of two episodes, Melody helps us begin to understand the broad themes of the book of Chronicles in relation to the history that has preceded it in Samuel and Kings. Then next week, we look at specific passages that reflect these themes.
