Welcome to the latest episode of our podcast, titled "How to Be Blessed Every Day." In this episode, we will explore the concept of being blessed and how we can experience blessings in our daily lives. We will draw insights from Exodus 39:1-43, specifically focusing on the construction of the Tabernacle and the priestly garments described in the passage.

Have you ever been told to "Have a blessed day"? While we appreciate the sentiment behind these words, it begs the question of what it truly means to have a blessed day. Can someone else ensure that we have a blessed day? And if so, what do we need to do to attain it?

In Exodus 39, we find a detailed account of the construction of the Tabernacle and the priestly garments. Interestingly, much of the information presented in this chapter is a repetition of what was previously given in earlier chapters. It emphasizes the meticulous implementation of the instructions previously provided by God to Moses.

The passage begins by describing the garments made for the ministry and the holy garments for Aaron, the high priest.  While the physical garments served a specific purpose for the priests in the Old Testament, we can draw a parallel to our lives today. As believers, we are called to stand out in the world, not through physical attire, but through our attitudes and actions. Colossians 3:8-14 provides guidance on the spiritual clothing we should "put on." Instead of external garments, we are encouraged to cultivate qualities such as kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering, forgiveness, and above all, love. These attributes make us distinct and enable us to shine as lights in a dark world.

One key aspect to note is the principle of replacement found throughout the New Testament. It is not enough to simply stop engaging in negative behaviors; we are called to replace them with positive virtues. This concept of taking off and putting on is vital for spiritual growth.

Furthermore, Philippians 2:14-15 highlights another way we can stand out in the world. It urges us to refrain from complaining and disputing, offering a counter-cultural approach. By embodying a spirit of contentment and peace, we differentiate ourselves from the prevailing negativity and become sources of light and hope.

Returning to Exodus 39, we witness the completion of the Tabernacle and the presentation of the finished work to Moses. Throughout the chapter, it repeatedly emphasizes that the children of Israel did all the work according to the commands of the Lord. This obedience and adherence to God's instructions earned them the blessing and praise of Moses.

Likewise, to experience blessings in our lives, we must follow God's guidance and instructions. Building our lives as fitting places for God's presence involves cultivating inner qualities and aligning our character with His desires. It goes beyond external actions and extends to the inner transformation of our hearts and minds.

Moreover, Jesus' teachings in the Beatitudes provi
