Study Notes for Joshua 1:1-9

Background:

Joshua 1:1-9 marks the beginning of Joshua’s leadership after Moses’ death. God’s charge to Joshua is both a personal encouragement and a declaration of divine support as Israel prepares to enter the Promised Land.
