Cinema Beef Podcast #60 : It Only Rains Men and Blood From The Disco Ball

Once upon a time, not too long ago, homosexuality was a strange dirty secret. Hollywood was never quite sure how to acknowledge it. This all changed when the HIV/AIDS epidemic began, so on this Cinema Beef Podcast, we look at three extremely different views of homosexuality B.P. (Before “Philadelphia”). Join The Beardmaster, Gary Hill, his ward, Professor X, and special guest, Wildman Willis Wheeler, as they look at William Friedkin’s “Cruising,” Jack Sholder’s “A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge” and the amazingly flamboyant “Can’t Stop the Music,” starring the Village People. Can you retain sphincter control throughout this show? There’s only one way to find out…
