Fr. Ken Geraci lived the life of the prodigal son for most of his young adult life. Raised in a nominally Catholic family, who only lived the externals of the faith, as a young man, he left the Catholic Church for many years. During that time, he earned a business degree and achieved business success, but made little room for God. God, however, did not give up on him. During this journey, Our Lord presented him with challenges that forced him to question his personal beliefs and to ask the question "What is Truth?" Through a series of conversions, years of struggle, study and questioning, Fr. Ken found his way from agnosticism, to non-denominational Christianity, and ultimately back to the Catholic Church. Fr. Innocent Montgomery, CFR grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska as one of a triplet, and his triplet brother is also a CFR priest. He attended Saint Gregory the Great Seminary for his undergrad in philosophy. He entered the Friars in 2007 and spent many joyful years serving the homeless and drug addicts at Saint Anthony’s Shelter in the Bronx. He made his final vows in 2012 and was ordained to the priesthood in 2016. His master’s thesis work in seminary was in Christological anthropology. He now serves as the Postulant Director for the CFRs, accompanying the young brothers in early formation as they learn how to pray, live in fraternity, and love and serve the poor. One of his greatest joys is to bless people in their identity as sons and daughters of the Father.

Paul Jernberg was born in Chicago in 1953. Having studied piano from an early age, he pursued a career as a piano soloist and accompanist which began in the Midwest and continued in Sweden, where he lived and worked from 1983 to 1993. While in Europe, his musical work expanded to include composition and choral directing. After his reception into the Catholic Church in 1992, and his return to the US in 1993, his career was devoted to teaching, conducting, and composing at the service of Catholic schools and parishes in Illinois and Massachusetts. Since 2017 he has continued this three-fold work as founding director of the Magnificat Institute of Sacred Music, a non-profit organization now based in Lander, Wyoming.

Leszek Sikon - Originally from Poland, Leszek came to the UK 17 years ago. He earned a decent living as a middle manager in retail yet this career left me feeling wholly unfulfilled. Fr. John Bayer, O. Cist. was born in Texas in 1984. He entered Our Lady of Dallas in August, 2007. He made his first temporary vows on August 20, 2008, and he made his solemn profession on August 19, 2012. He was ordained priest on August 10, 2013. He is Form Master for Class 2025 and he teaches English Lab, Latin and Theology at Cistercian Preparatory School. He is also an adjunct professor of theology at the University of Dallas. Fr. John began teaching at Cistercian Preparatory School and studying for the priesthood at the University of Dallas. In 2012, he traveled to Rome to continue his graduate studies at Pontifical Gregorian University, where he defended his dissertation on St. Anselm of Canterbury in 2019. In addition to good philosophy and theology, Fr. John loves athletics, hiking, camping, and marveling prayerfully in nature.

Fr. Innocent Montgomery, CFR grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska as one of a triplet, and his triplet brother is also a CFR priest. He attended Saint Gregory the Great Seminary for his undergrad in philosophy. He entered the Friars in 2007 and spent many joyful years serving the homeless and drug addicts at Saint Anthony’s Shelter in the Bronx. He made his final vows in 2012 and was ordained to the priesthood in 2016. His master’s thesis work in seminary was in Christological anthropology. Fr. David Abernethy was born in Johnstown PA and is a Father of The Oratory of Saint Philip Neri in Pittsburgh. Father David converted to Catholicism as an undergraduate at the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned his Bachelors Degree. He also holds Masters Degrees in Sacred Theology and Divinity and has spent many years as a priest studying clinical counseling and Psychoanalysis at the Pittsburgh Psychoanalytic Center where he is an academic candidate. In 1987 the Philokalia was given to Father David as a gift; this gift sparked a love for the Desert Fathers and Eastern Spirituality that Father David has developed for over thirty years. He has a particular interest in the works of Saint John Cassian, Saint John Climacus and Saint Isaac the Syrian. Father David was ordained to the Priesthood 1994.

Brought up as an Evangelical. Dwight Longenecker graduated from fundamentalist Bob Jones University. While there he became an Anglican and after graduation went to Oxford to train as an Anglican priest.

After serving for ten years as an Anglican priest he converted to the Catholic faith with his wife and family. Eventually he returned to the United States to be ordained as a Catholic priest under the special provision from Rome for married former Anglican clergy.

Fr Longenecker has written over seventeen books and booklets on Catholic spirituality, apologetics and prayer. He has authored hundreds of articles which have been published in newspapers, magazines, websites and journals in the USA and the UK. His popular blog is called Standing on My Head. Jarrett Schaub is a devout Catholic convert, husband, father, and third generation luthier hand-crafting custom acoustic guitars in Evergreen, Colorado.

Jarrett grew up in a large family of musicians, a heritage which began with his grandfather Reid Schaub—a talented guitarist who played for Buddy Holly during his college years in Lubbock, Texas. Reid later joined The Leon River Stump Jumpers before creating his own family band, which included his four children. The youngest, Jarrett’s father Roland, went on to lead a touring band in the 90's, and he's still playing venues in Texas today. Jarrett spent his childhood surrounded by guitars and live music, and by age 14 had mastered the guitar by playing along to his father’s cassette tape recordings. He eventually found himself on stage as well, touring as Jarrett Schaub and the Vagabonds for several years throughout Texas. He stepped away in 2012 to focus on his growing family.

Jarrett built his first guitar in 2002 in his grandfather's guitar shop. Reid Schaub had been building acoustic guitars and mandolins since 1968, and he was eager to pass his wisdom on to future generations. For many years the Schaub family held weekly sessions in Reid’s guitar shop, with three generations of Schaub men learning and working together under one roof.
