🧫 John Carpenter's The Thing is celebrating its 40th anniversary this week, and what a milestone indeed! In this episode we will be talking about the legendary director himself and the interesting relationship he has with Hollywood, we'll also hit upon the film's initially poor release and eventual massive cult following, Rob Bottin's unparalleled special effects, the amazing cast of unforgettable characters, the plethora of theories regarding a timeline of infection with our own personal head canon for who killed who, and of course as always we'll choose which character we think was most deserving to die.
