Top headlines for Friday, December 8, 2023

In today's episode, we discuss the recent lift of a months-long blockade on President Biden’s military appointments. The ongoing opposition is hinged on a controversial proposal for federally-funded travel of female service members seeking abortions. Meanwhile in Tennessee, a pro-life organization continues to strengthen its presence with its 100th mobile medical clinic. Then, we'll navigate the crossroads of art and faith: rapper Lil Nas X declares the dawn of his Christian era, unhinged by his sexuality. Finally, we'll critique Journey to Bethlehem, a performance entwining modern narrative with ancient theology, posing the question, can entertainment and biblical stories harmoniously coexist?
