SBC Seminary Affirms Only Men Can Be Pastors, Brian Houston Hosts Prayer Night Ahead of Court, Detransitioners Speak Out

A Southern Baptist Convention seminary passed a resolution affirming its president's stance that only men can be pastors, an indirect response to Rick Warren’s Saddleback Church ordaining three women pastors last year.

Hillsong Church founder Brian Houston announced that he and his wife, Bobbie, will have a big night of preaching and fellowship in their home base next month and urged their followers to join them in their return to a local stage.

A group of detransitioners spoke at a recent school board meeting in California amid concerns about public schools exposing children to gender ideology, warning that such content increases the likelihood that minors will rush to embrace “irreversible” decisions to their longterm

detriment.

CNN, generally considered a left-leaning news outlet, has labeled ads attacking four Republican candidates’ positions on the issue of abortion as “misleading."
