EP 53: Making Disciples in LGBTQ+ | MJ Nixon (Rainbow Revival)

In this second conversation on the Contagious Faith Podcast, Gabriel Jackson welcomes back MJ Nixon, founder of Rainbow Revival, for an honest and practical discussion about making disciples within the LGBTQ+ community.

While many conversations focus on testimony alone, this episode explores what comes next. MJ shares why discipleship is a journey, not a moment, and how the Church can faithfully walk alongside people with biblical truth, genuine compassion, and long-term commitment.

Together, Gabriel and MJ discuss the challenges many believers face after choosing to follow Jesus, the importance of healthy Christian community, and why discipleship requires patience, relationship, and the leading of the Holy Spirit.

In this episode, you'll hear about:

• What discipleship looks like in the LGBTQ+ community
• Walking with people through transformation
• Balancing biblical truth with Christlike compassion
• Building authentic relationships that foster growth
• Helping believers establish their identity in Christ
• How churches can better equip and care for those seeking to follow Jesus

This conversation is an encouraging reminder that making disciples isn't about winning arguments—it's about faithfully walking with people as they learn to follow Jesus one step at a time.
