The Corpse Cast Episode 397 - All the Wishes: Revisiting Wishmaster - Wishmaster (1997) and Wishmaster 2: Evil Never Dies (1999)

On this episode of The Corpse Cast, Mike Cadaver and Matt Wall dive into two slices of late-'90s horror mayhem: Wishmaster (1997) and Wishmaster 2: Evil Never Dies (1999).

We take a look at the original film's wonderfully nasty practical effects, the memorable horror cameos, Andrew Divoff's performance as the terrifying Djinn, and what made Wishmaster such a fun addition to the '90s horror landscape. Then we crack open Wishmaster 2 and see what happens when the Djinn gets even more freedom to cause supernatural chaos.

We'll talk story, effects, performances, favorite moments, horror cameos, and whether the sequel manages to live up to the original—or simply decides to have a lot more fun with the concept.

So grab your favorite horror movie, make a wish... and be VERY careful what you ask for.
