Meet the guest: Dr. Phil Cardoso is a professor of Animal Sciences at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. He specializes in dairy nutrition and reproduction, combining research and outreach programs to advance the dairy industry. Dr. Cardoso earned his PhD in ruminant nutrition from the University of Illinois and holds a Master’s and DVM from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil.
