We're rounding out comedy month with Drop Dead Gorgeous, a 1999 American satirical black comedy mockumentary film directed by Michael Patrick Jann and written by Lona Williams, in which the dynamics of a small Minnesota town unfold as multiple contestants in the regional American Teen Princess Pageant begin to die mysteriously. The film stars Kirsten Dunst, Ellen Barkin, Allison Janey, Denise Richards, and Kirstie Alley, all of whom sport over the top Midwestern accents.
