This week we have Eric’s pick for Movies Of the Middle East and it comes from director Hany Abu-Assad, “Paradise Now.” This film is a sobering view on what happens leading up to a suicide bomb attack. We follow two best friends in Palestine as they are chosen to carry out a retaliatory attack against Israel. This film is intensely complex and captures the feelings behind doing what is right vs. something just. The Snobs enjoyed talking through this film with GUEST MATT BOLT! Matt brings some a Middle Eastern opinions and we get into how this film reminded us of Napoleon Dynamite??! Enjoy!
