Ladies and Gentlemen. This film is perfect. Yes, that may be a tall claim, but few movies come close to the level of attention, feeling, and artistry that this film has reached. A classic from the vault of director Jacques Demy, The Umbrellas of Cherbourg is a masterpiece of song, color, and emotion. In Ethan's pick, we discover just how sad we can get, happy we can feel, and cozy we can become. Eric is surprised at how short the film is, Jared is in love with the colors, Ricky's views change on a character, Caleb goes gaga for Catherine Deneuve's eyes, and Ethan is touched. This film is a great watch and we have so much to say about it. Enjoy this with a loved one or by yourself, just have some tissues handy.
