I talk with Ben Mackereth, who is based in Australia, about the fishing community and culture of Australia but also about what he discovered while he lived in British Colombia for 5 years too.
He writes for The Drake, Fly Life and Fly Culture and we look at the writing process and how he had his first fishing article published at the age of 16.
He has also set up The Torrent (www.thetorrent.com.au) a website that works to let fly anglers know globally what is happening with environmental issues on waterways of the world.
