Travis Eliot on Resilience, Teaching, and Unexpected Lessons

This week, we’re joined by the one and only Travis Eliot—yoga teacher, author, and co-founder of Inner Dimension. He takes us through his journey from near-death experiences to reconnecting with his spirituality, finding gratitude and becoming a globally recognized teacher. We talk about resilience, the power of yoga and mindfulness, and how these practices can transform life on and off the mat.

Travis shares his early days as a teamster in the film industry, his first steps into yoga, and memories of his mom teaching him meditation as a kid. We dive into the evolution of yoga trainings, the debate around teaching before training, and how an extra-long Warrior Two finally pushed him to formal study. Plus, we explore different teaching styles, the role of resistance, and the importance of staying a student for life.
