"SAVE THE MANATEE!" with Pat Rose

Manatees..."Sea Cows" these peaceful mammals are ost often individually identified by their scars from boaters. Pat Rose one the worlds leading experts on Manatees joined us. What a treat...Pat has been working with Manatees since the early 70's and the stories he has to tell !!! and  Jimmy Buffett was "instrumental" in raising money to help them and educate us starting in 1981. Most of us have heard about Manatees...but how much do you really know??? This episode is full of information and some great stories about the big guys that the closest land animal is the Elephant.
