TGOG 2024; 1-14; TEXT 5, SEC V; Lesson #139: Accepting the Atonement

Guilt is the modus operandi of the ego, to ensure that fear is maintained. The Separation never occurred, but we thought it did when we had the notion that we "made ourselves." Guilt is a sure sign that we have used the ego's thought system. If we "think with God," the result will be JOY. The "guiltless mind" cannot suffer. Our job is to "heal the mind" through accepting the Atonement for ourselves. The Holy Spirit is the Voice for God that helps us makes this decision.
