Iron Maiden: Piece of Mind

For Metalheads, this is an instant classic. The Buzz in every Jr. High/High School across the US was around this album in the fall of '83. Sure, Ozzy, Kiss, Motley Crue, Dio and Judas Priest were crushing it too, but the band was able to endure, and their legion of fans, rightfully, allowed them to do their thing for a long long time. What we loved about the album was how well they could blend Hard Rock with Punk and glam metal with prog.-y  themes for their songs. Give it a listen if you haven't in a long time. This is an excellent album for this show because the singles "Flight of Icarus" and "The Trooper" are on par with the rest.
