Today on The Heavy Desert Podcast The Gateway to Gravitoyd series continues as I welcome Jason Busiek and Jim McCloskey of Sea of Snakes, who will be playing at this years Gravitoyd Doomfest IV, being held in Houston, Texas on May 2nd, at 1810 Ojeman. We dig into their influences and the backstory of the band. Sea of Snakes also has a new EP dropping on April 2nd via Glory of Death Records, titled Magmantus, that we talk about. We cover the approach to songwriting, Jason’s history in Houston with the band Wretched Kingdom and playing with Rusty Miller of High Desert Queen. We chat about the SoCal scene and much more.
