Golden Nuggets from Valerie: 

1. There is wisdom in getting “outside Christian counsel” for greater revelation.
2. If there is “household” or “marital” tension…start talking and asking questions as something may be wrong or brewing.
3. We are often more REAL when we have come out of the fire!
4. TUFF mommas are Tenacious, Uncommon, Fireproof, Fit
5. Expect life to have challenges but know that you can be more than a conqueror…and  in the meantime you may need a stiff spine.
6. When your children wander, stay the course, walk in Truth so that you give them somewhere consistent to return to.
7. Our children are always watching us…even after they are out of the house.
8. Work “heartily for the Lord” in “whatever you are doing!”
9. Keep a teachable spirit.
10. “You are not competing with others, you are only competing with yourself.”
11. Maximize your natural gifts!!!
12. Listen with your eyes, your ears, and your heart. Do not just listen to small “sound bites.”
13. Life is too short. Become a DEEP THINKER!!!
