The Cairo Geniza: Letters from Medieval Jerusalem

Before the Mamluks, before the Crusaders, medieval Jerusalem was a city of letters. In this episode, Lucas and Luna dig into the Cairo Geniza, a trove of hundreds of thousands of documents preserved in a synagogue in Fustat, Egypt.
