Boston Hardcore: The Firestarter of an East Coast Underground

The episode digs into the early 1980s Boston hardcore scene—the gritty basements, raw demos, and DIY networks that forged SSD, DYS, and their peers. It follows how small clubs like The White Elephant, independent labels such as X‑Claim, and fanzine circulation built a culture of no‑drugs, high‑energy punk that later rippled into metalcore and other genres.
