Eric's Club: The Underground Engine of Liverpool’s Post‑Punk Explosion

This episode dives into Eric’s Club, the basement‑room venue that became a launching pad for Liverpool’s post‑punk wave. We trace how its DIY spirit, cramped rehearsals, and raw sound shaped bands like Echo & The Bunnymen, Teardrop Explodes, and others who would redefine British indie music. The story shows the real mechanics behind a scene’s rise—from cheap amps to fanzine flyers and grassroots touring.
