The Misfits and the Birth of Horror Punk Aesthetic

An exploration of how Glenn Danzig and his early Lodi band turned 1940s B‑movie monsters into a punk visual style, from their first single‑track experiments to the ghost‑face logo and DIY flyers that became hallmarks of horror‑punk. The episode tracks the band’s move to Restless Records in 1978, their limited pressings, and how image and music worked hand‑in‑hand to create a new punk subculture.
