We talk about the power of influence on the lives of your children and how much of what you say and demonstrate to them will be reflected in their own lives. Sometimes we or other people say things to our children as a joke, but we have to pay attention to if they’re understanding it’s just a joke. We talk about how it’s usually best to acknowledge the behavior of the child rather than acknowledge themselves when giving a compliment. We discuss advertising and the power it has to influence your children, oftentimes causing them to whine and complain about toys they don’t have. When your children pick up on doubt and hesitancies, then they will breathe and understand right into that. We talk about having adult conversations and the impact they can have on your children and oftentimes you don’t even think about the fact that they’re listening to you. Even hypothetical conversations can be misinterpreted from your children. Their subconscious shapes their future, and sheltering them from certain things will help them to have a better future.
