Ep 168: Podside Chat - Stop Thinking And Know More

40 min • 26 maj 2021

Start Your Transformation Now

Stop thinking and know more sounds oxymoronic, right? I totally understand because we have been taught since we were kids that we had to excel at “thinking.” You know, it was all about how smart we were, good grades, etc.

What if that cultural thought actually kept and keeps you trapped?

Rumi once said something like to be silent is to know everything. When he said silent, he meant that we should slow down and stop the overthinking and quiet the mind.

In this episode, I talk about some of the limitations of our “thinking” brain versus our “knowing” mind.

As you’ll discover, I talk about meditation and how that’s the first place to start and it’s also a huge limitationsto get stuck in that place. I know those who meditate think what I just said contradicts what they think, however, to just “mediate” is to work from only one level of mind.

Ideally, we want to learn to manage our thinking and brain, and when we do that the silent mind begins to open up for us.

Transformational Takeaway: When you get out of your analytical thinking your silent mind begins to open for you.
