For our fourth episode we sat down with Chris Garvey, best known as one-half of UK Drum & Bass powerhouse The Prototypes and co-founder of Get Hype Records. 

Chris has achieved great success as an artist with The Prototypes, but his passion for the music industry has not stopped there. On top of his music career as a DnB artist, Chris has founded an independent record label, a live event management service and a mastering business. 

In this episode we speak of COVID-19's repercussions on artists' live shows and revenue streams, stem mastering, digital distribution, social media promotion techniques and the overall necessity for independent artists to become more business-savvy.
