Asmaa Jama - The Salt Worshippers

New piece commissioned by The Lake for the 5th edition of Works For Radio. Description: The Salt Worshippers is set against Lake Assal, a salt lake located in the Danakil depression between Djibouti and Ethiopia. The work draws on an ancient tale in East Africa/West Asia of the two star-crossed lovers Qeys and Leyla.
