The Lake Radio — Live from Struer Tracks: Stefanie Egedy on B.A.S

Stefanie Egedy composes music for subwoofers and created a large-scale installation with massive subwoofers at the harbour during Struer Tracks 2025. The Lake’s Timmy Olivia Thygesen and Louise Tandrup Esbensen met her in autumn 2024 during her residency at Sound Art Lab in Struer, where she was developing the project BODIES AND SUBWOOFERS (B.A.S.). In this interview, Stefanie talks about her creative process and the ideas behind B.A.S., exploring the physical and emotional power of low-frequency sound.
