FOLIAGE begins with field recordings captured on the lakeside of the town where I was born. Water, wind, and rustling leaves form the foundation of an intimate auditory memory. As the piece unfolds, these familiar sounds gradually transform. Through subtle digital manipulation, the organic textures blur and dissolve, suggesting an imagined future where nature and technology coexist — or perhaps where one survives the other. Created for deep listening, FOLIAGE invites the audience to experience sound as landscape, memory, and fragile presence. In a world without streaming, archives, or WiFi, what remains are the vibrations closest to our roots.
