Engaging with the Non-Orthodox: Reflections with Notes from the Church Fathers

Speaking to the alumni and seminarians of St. Tikhon’s Seminary at the beginning of the 2018–2019 academic year, Fr. Andrew calls on Orthodox Christians to converse with the non-Orthodox without polemics and without compromise. Drawing on the Patristic tradition, he demonstrates that charitable, truthful engagement is not a departure from Orthodoxy, but part of its inheritance. This talk was given on August 30, 2018, at St. Tikhon's Orthodox Seminary in South Canaan, Pennsylvania.
