In this episode, we want to talk about MBSE methodologies in general and SYSMOD in particular. Since our co-host Tim is the author of SYSMOD, we don’t have a guest this time and just talk to ourselves.

We first take a general look at MBSE methodologies and then take a closer look at SYSMOD. We don’t have enough time to go through all the methods of SYSMOD. We give a rough overview and talk about the history of SYSMOD, how the methodology is used and what the future of SYSMOD looks like. We will also consider the variant modeling approach VAMOS (Variant Modeling with SysML), and the FAS method (Functional Architectures for Systems).
