We’re going to pay tribute to the founder of the Beatles with our eighth show to showcase the talents of Lennon and focus on something that Lennon was never satisfied with, his voice. Although many believe that he has one of the finest voices in rock and roll music, he was even voted fifth best singer of all time in Rolling Stone’s 2010 poll behind Sam Cooke, Elvis Presley, Ray Charles, and Aretha Franklin, he never liked his own voice. Although polls like that are often arbitrary (McCartney showed up at number eleven) most Beatles fans would disagree with Lennon’s self-deprecation.
