29 min13 juli 2023
Thanks for wandering through nature with me. In this episode I am discussing the wildfires in Canada and how they affect wildlife.  I’ll also talk about how wildfires are a natural part of nature and can actually benefit nature.  The website to check the air quality in your area can be found at www.airnow.gov. To see a map of the active wildfires in the US and Canada, visit https://firms.modaps.eosdis.nasa.gov/usfs/map/ For the most recent data on the Canadian wildfires visit https://cwfis.cfs.nrcan.gc.ca/report This episode was recorded in Late June. Since the recording, the air quality has cleared up in the Northeast. On July 5th, the number of fires still burning in Canada was at 432. The number contained was at 288.
