Overnight, the late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel was literally cancelled - taken off air and his show suspended, for what his ABC network bosses called "insensitivity" over Charlie Kirk’s death.
The firing came after comments from the broadcast regulator suggesting he would revoke licences if the show wasn’t stopped.
