Nintendo is gearing up for the upcoming release of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD. A new trailer was released last week and since then, Nintendo has highlighted a "Smoother Play Experience" with a variety of Quality of Life enhancements. For example, you'll no longer have to deal with as much chatter from a particular NPC in the game who is teaching you the basics. In addition to the visual enhancements, including running at 60 frames per second, there's now "optional" help from Fi, skippable cutscenes, the ability to fast-forward dialogue, autosave and skippable tutorials. Also, information about items will only pop up once from now on.

A Sealed Copy Of Super Mario 64 Just Sold For A Record-Breaking $1.56 Million. Nintendo Life reports that over the weekend, the world record for the highest-priced video game sale was well and truly smashed, with an ultra-rare copy of The Legend of Zelda on NES selling for a mind-blowing $870,000 USD. Then, that record was broken again, this time by a sealed, immaculate copy of Super Mario 64 for the Nintendo 64. The game sold for $1.56M USD.
