There are few people who know the ever-shifting landscape of indie film as well as Michelle Satter. In fact, there may be no other people. Michelle helped found the Sundance Institute's feature film program alongside Robert Redford in 1981. All they've done since then is help build the very identity of indie film, developing and bringing audiences some of the most important voices in cinema.
