First, the plaintiff and defendant used to be in a relationship. She says her ex-boyfriend won’t pay for the cost of a plane ticket to Jamaica and a car loan, so she’s suing. The defendant says he paid for most things when they dated, and she’s just upset that he’s dating someone new. He’s countersuing for the cost of an iPad.
Then, the plaintiff brings her aunt to court. She purchased a car from the defendant, but she says her aunt tried getting the radio back and even took the lug nuts out of the tire. She’s suing for repairs and the cost of the car. The defendant argues they agreed on an as-is sale, so a deal is a deal.
Plus, the plaintiff rented an apartment to the defendant, and it turned into a disaster. He kicked the defendant out because she stopped paying rent. He says the defendant left the place a total mess, so he’s suing for damages, eviction fees, unpaid rent. The defendant claims she doesn’t owe because she believes it was a ploy to have a family member move in instead.
