Accident Tears Family Apart

The plaintiff says she’s known the defendant for 30 years. She claims her former friend drove a car she insured without permission and got in an accident. She’s suing to be reimbursed for the accident deductible. The defendant says she swerved to avoid a cat and hit a wall, and she says she owes nothing.  Then, the plaintiff says the defendant is her former landlord, who she claims is keeping her security deposit without cause. The defendant says the plaintiff painted the walls dark brown and damaged them, so he owes nothing because he has to repaint.  Plus, the plaintiff says she paid the defendant to fix a broken window at her house, but he took off without doing the work. She called and called, and then the cops said she was harassing him.
