Bad Hair Day

The plaintiff says she went to the defendant for a special hairdo right before her birthday, but it ended up such a mess that she had to wear a scarf over it. She’s suing for the cost of the hairdo, plus pain and suffering. The defendant says the plaintiff was picky, indecisive, and impossible to please.  Then, the plaintiff says the defendant hired her as a subcontractor for some stucco work, but she wasn’t paid the full amount owed. She says her word is her bond and she did an excellent job, so she’s suing for the outstanding bill. The defendant says the work was shoddy and she ended up having to hire someone else to fix it. She’s countersuing for all she’s out.  Plus, the plaintiff says the defendant is her nasty neighbor, who she claims trespassed and butchered a tree she had planted on her property in honor of her dad, so she’s suing. The defendant claims the tree was on the property line and was overgrown.
