Being Off-Kilter

The plaintiff hired the defendant to build steps and a deck for her above-ground pool. She says the deck was the wrong height and not safe to use. She’s suing for a refund. The defendant argues he fixed the deck, and the plaintiff will never be happy with the product.  Then, the plaintiff says he sold a glass yacht light, and he hire the defendant to package it for him. The item arrived damaged, so he’s suing the defendant. The defendant says the plaintiff showed up with a prepackaged Amazon box, and she shipped it for him. She says he filed a claim, which was denied due to his poor packaging.  Plus, the plaintiff says he brought his car to the defendant for repairs, and it was supposed to be ready in a week. It dragged on for months and he had to rent a car, so he’s suing for those costs.
