Boondoggling a Biker

The plaintiff was riding her bike when the careless defendant ran into her with his car. She says the defendant refuses to pay her medical bills, so she’s suing him. The defendant alleges that the accident was not his fault. Therefore, he is not responsible for her medical bills. Then, the plaintiff hired and paid the defendant to extend her backyard patio, but the plaintiff says he still hasn’t done any work, so she’s suing for a refund. The defendant claims he was all set to do the work, but the plaintiff called him and changed her mind. The defendant insists he didn’t cancel and owes the plaintiff nothing. Plus, the plaintiff rented his house to the defendants, and he’s suing them for unpaid rent and fees he claims they owe him. The defendants say they have no idea why the plaintiff is suing them because they did everything by the book when they moved out of the home, including giving the plaintiff 30 days’ notice.
