Deep Dysfunction

The plaintiff says the defendant is his mom. He claims she owes him for keeping some of his stuff and refusing to return it, so he’s suing for the items’ value. The defendant says her son was arrested for a DUI, so she took the car, which is in her name, away from him. She claims he moved out in a huff and told her to do whatever she wanted with his things.  Then, the plaintiff says the defendant is his ex-girlfriend. He claims she borrowed money to help out a “friend,” and when he tried to collect repayment, she ignored him. He’s suing to get his money back. The defendant says she met the plaintiff in the taxi he drove, and he showered her with gifts even though they weren’t sexually involved.
