The plaintiff says the defendant hired him to work on his 1978 sailboat, which had sunk twice. He claims the man posted defamatory comments online and he wants them taken down. He’s suing for the max for defamation, slander, and injunctive relief. The defendant claim the plaintiff didn’t know what he was doing and admits posting the negative comments. He’s countersuing for the value of stolen items.  Then, the plaintiff rented an apartment to the defendant. She says the defendant moved out in the middle of the night without telling her and therefore broke the lease. The plaintiff says he stopped paying rent and even left a rifle under the bed. She’s suing for two months of rent. The defendant argues the plaintiff did not have any respect for his privacy and doesn’t owe her anything.
