Doubling-Crossing an Old Friend

The plaintiff brings her former childhood friend to court. She says she put a car in her name for the defendant, but then the car got repossessed because of unpaid tickets. She says the defendant won’t pay her back for the fines and tickets, so she’s suing. The defendant argues she has nothing to do with the car because it was mainly for her ex-boyfriend. She’s countersuing for defamation of character.  Then, the plaintiff says she rented an apartment, but then the landlord sold it to the defendant, who kicked her out. Now the woman won’t return her security deposit, so she’s suing.
