Easy Come, Easy Go

The plaintiff says the defendant is now her ex, and she had loaned him money for a custody battle with his former ex. One week later, he ghosted her. She’s suing for what she’s owed. The defendant says his ex gave him the money, and he says she’s weird and spiteful.  The plaintiffs say they hired the defendant’s company to move their items into a new apartment, but he broke several things. They’re suing for what they’re owed. The defendant says the only thing that happened was a small scratch on a wall.
