Failing the Family

The plaintiff says the defendant is her stepdaughter, who she bailed out financially. The plaintiff claims she’s never been reimbursed, and family or no family, she’s suing for her money back. The defendant says she doesn’t like the plaintiff and claims she was repaying in installments, but then her stepmom asked for the loan in full.  Then, the plaintiff says the defendant is her estranged husband. She claims he had her and her son arrested, claiming they were threatening him. She says when she got out of jail, all her belongings were gone, along with $1,800 in cash.
